Description

The Ohio Department of Youth Services is seeking a supplier to provide and install 4 evaporative coolers for the Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility (IRJCF). The project must be completed as a "turnkey" operation, with the contractor responsible for all permits, inspections, wiring, plumbing connections, and trash removal. The contractor must also provide 1 year's worth of replacement media pads for all 4 coolers. • The contractor must be experienced and qualified to perform the installation. • The contractor must provide detailed documentation of the services performed once completed. • The contractor must ensure that all equipment is connected and working properly with the current controls in place. • The contractor must provide a performance startup to confirm proper installation and validate the warranty.

Budget estimate

$50,000 – $200,000

Based on the scope of work, which includes the provision and installation of 4 evaporative coolers, the cost of the project is likely to be substantial. The cost of the coolers themselves, plus the cost of installation, permits, and inspections, could range from $50,000 to $200,000. This estimate is based on the assumption that the coolers are high-quality, commercial-grade equipment, and that the installation process will require specialized labor and equipment. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the specific requirements of the project, the experience and qualifications of the contractor, and the level of competition for the contract.
