Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking a vendor to provide service and support for a REES Scientific Centron environmental monitoring system. The contract is expected to have a period of performance of one base year and four option years, with a total period of performance of 2026-2031. The vendor will be required to perform routine maintenance and upgrades to the existing automated temperature monitoring and notification infrastructure at the Southwest Fisheries Science Center (SWFSC).
• Annual calibration and validation service for the Centron system
• A 12-month hardware and software service and support agreement to include on-site service and component replacement in the event that the system fails to receive software upgrades
The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to Rees Scientific, the original equipment manufacturer and the only source provider of the monitoring systems with certified and experienced personnel.
