Parking Management Services for the Evan V. Jones Parkade

The City of San Diego is seeking a qualified contractor to operate and manage the Evan V. Jones Parkade, a 12‑level, 1,141‑space underground facility. The contractor will be responsible for daily parking operations, staffing, revenue collection, equipment maintenance, janitorial services, safety/security, reporting, and compliance with wage, PCI‑DSS, and other regulatory requirements over a five‑year term. • Operate the parkade 24/7 with on‑site manager, ticket‑booth ambassador, and additional staff for events and weekend coverage. • Collect and remit all cash/credit‑card revenues, provide detailed daily, monthly, and annual financial reports, and maintain PCI‑DSS compliance for payment processing equipment. • Perform full‑service janitorial, minor maintenance, lighting, graffiti removal, and equipment upkeep, plus handle customer‑service calls and incident reporting. • Meet extensive reporting requirements (monthly revenue, utilization, employment utilization, operating reports) and adhere to living‑wage, insurance, bonding, and background‑check standards.
