NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - Otis Elevator Preventive Maintenance Service for U.S. Embassy Kampala, Uganda

The U.S. Government intends to award a sole source contract for preventive maintenance services for two existing Otis elevator systems installed at U.S. Government facilities in Kampala, Uganda. The contract will be awarded under NAICS code 238290, and the estimated period of performance is one year. The sole authorized Otis Elevators representative in Uganda, Fabrication systems, is the only responsible source capable of providing certified preventive maintenance services for the Otis elevator systems. • The contract is for preventive maintenance services for two existing Otis elevator systems. • The contract will be awarded under NAICS code 238290. • The estimated period of performance is one year. • Fabrication systems is the sole authorized Otis Elevators representative in Uganda. • The contract is a sole source requirement in accordance with authority citation, 41 USC 253(c) (1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1.
