Description
The Liberty County Board of Commissioners is seeking proposals for a comprehensive assessment of the Liberty County Jail facility. The assessment should evaluate the jail's condition, operational workflows, capacity, and compliance with Georgia jail standards and federal regulations. The selected firm will provide recommendations for renovation, expansion, or replacement, as well as planning-level cost estimates and implementation strategies. The scope of services includes a facility and infrastructure assessment, security systems evaluation, operational assessment, capacity and population analysis, and compliance review.
• The assessment should consider the jail's aging infrastructure and building systems, current and projected inmate population needs, operational efficiencies, and staffing considerations.
• The selected firm should have experience providing services for projects of similar size, function, and complexity.
• The proposal should include a statement of qualifications, experience, and approach to the assessment, as well as a project schedule and cost estimate.
