Downtown Thread Trail Norfolk Southern Pedestrian Railroad Crossing

The City of Conover is seeking bids for the Downtown Thread Trail Norfolk Southern Railroad Crossing project. The project consists of general site demolition, installation of proposed sidewalk, fencing, railroad crossing, and associated grading and erosion control. Bidders must comply with the requirements of the State of North Carolina and be appropriately licensed as a Contractor. The City of Conover has a HUB requirement of 10% and encourages participation by historically underutilized businesses. • The project involves demolition and construction work • Bidders must comply with various laws and regulations, including the President's Executive Order No. 11246 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 • The City of Conover reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, or to reject non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids • The bid deposit shall be retained by the Owner if the successful bidder fails to execute the contract or fails to provide the required bonds • Digital copies of Bid Documents are available for purchase at www.mcgillassociates.com for a fee of $50.00 per set
