Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified firm to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for District 1 - Gainesville. The selected firm will be responsible for providing CEI services, including construction management, inspection, and testing. The firm will also be required to provide a detailed plan for adjusting resources allocation, manage project funds, and conduct quality control and quality assurance procedures. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the option to extend for up to five years.
• The firm must have experience in construction engineering and inspection, including experience with GDOT specific processes and manuals.
• The firm must have a strong team with a project manager, key team leaders, and key team members who have experience in construction engineering and inspection.
• The firm must have the ability to gather resources in the contract area and manage project from Field Plan Review through project closeout.
• The firm must have a detailed approach to assist the Department in meeting performance measures, including project closeout, asphalt smoothness, and completing construction projects within budget and on schedule.
