Various Types of Wire Mesh Installation and/or Repair Services

The City of Los Angeles, Department of General Services, Construction Forces Division, is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) bid packages from experienced Contractors interested in "Various Types of Wire Mesh Installation and/or Repair Services". The selected Contractors will provide services on an as-needed basis, with a maximum threshold of $7,000,000 for a total of 3 years. The services include all labor, materials, tools, equipment, monitoring, supervision, and incidentals required to construct, erect, alter, and/or repair various types of wire mesh structures. • The Contractor must be licensed and in good standing with the CA State License Board. • The Contractor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the required license categories. • The Contractor must comply with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations. • The Contractor must provide certified payroll, supporting documents, certificates, and other related information upon request. • The Contractor must pay CA Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) fees once a year as required by CA State law. • The Contractor must hire apprentices for public works contracts valued at $30,000 or more, unless the craft or trade does not require the use of apprentices.
