RT-2159/APX IFF Transponder Production

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is seeking information from potential sources for the production of RT-2159/APX IFF Transponder systems. The systems provide Mark XIIB Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Selective Identification Features (SIF) Modes 3/A & C, Mode 5, M5L2B, Mode S, and ADS-B In/Out capabilities. The required capabilities include production of the RT-2159/APX and related equipment, with a minimum production capability of 18 units per month. The efforts require an intricate knowledge of the RT-2159/APX Systems design and engineering details of interdependent aircraft/ship systems and subsystems. • The production of Mark XIIB IFF Mode 5, Mode S, and ADS-B In/Out systems • Qualification and/or equipment certification testing • Software and hardware configuration changes • Data collection, processing, and analysis • Engineering/trouble report investigations • Engineering change proposals • Feasibility and integration studies/efforts • Interchangeability assessments • Laboratory simulations • Logistics products • Obsolescence mitigation including Shop Replaceable Assembly (SRA) procurement • Government furnished equipment repairs • Test plans/testing
