Budget estimate

$2,000,000 – $5,000,000

Based on typical market prices for bulk road salt (approximately $150‑$250 per ton) and the need to cover strategic reserves for 13 regions, the total contract value is likely to fall between $2 million and $5 million. The lower bound assumes a modest reserve volume (≈ 10,000 tons) while the upper bound assumes a larger stockpile (≈ 20,000 tons) plus associated handling and storage services. Factors influencing the final budget include the exact tonnage required, delivery logistics, and any premium for guaranteed on‑site availability by the specified dates.
