Description
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from certified Small Businesses (SB) or Micro Businesses (MB) to provide janitorial services for the CHP Torrance Area Office. The scope of work includes general building office cleaning and maintenance. Bidders must meet certain qualification requirements, including DGS certification, commercial liability insurance, and workers' compensation insurance. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• The contract term is anticipated to be effective from April 1, 2026, with possible extensions.
• The bidder must perform at least 75% of the services and work described in the scope of work.
• The bidder must be registered with the DIR pursuant to California Labor Code Sections 1420 through 1434.
• The bidder must have a past record of sound business integrity and history of being responsive to past contractual obligations.
