Description
The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District is soliciting a qualified contractor to perform ongoing mowing, weed‑control, and related vegetation management for its Rapid Infiltration Basins (RIBs). The contract spans three years with an optional two‑year renewal and requires seasonal mowing cycles, bi‑monthly sand‑bottom aeration, tree pruning, storm‑related tree removal, and herbicide applications to both basin liners and compliance wells. All work must follow specified frequencies, use approved equipment (tractor with batwing attachment), and comply with herbicide restrictions to protect treated effluent. The contractor bears responsibility for any damage to HDPE liners caused during service.
