Description
The Sumter County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the 2026 LRA Paving and Striping Project. The project involves furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the projects entitled 2026 LRA Paving and Striping Project, including widening, plant mix leveling, resurfacing, and striping on various county roads in Sumter County. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on August 20, 2026. The work shall be fully completed within 150 consecutive calendar days from the date that the Notice to Proceed is given.
• The project requires a bid bond in an amount not less than 10% of the amount bid.
• The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount.
• Plans and specifications can be obtained at the Sumter County Board of Commissioners' Office or by email request to Jim Littlefield.
• Payment will be made within 30 days after receipt of each Application for Payment.
