Description
The United States Coast Guard is requesting quotations for the purchase of 1,800 Anode Retaining Plugs, specifically the part number 68241, NSN: 5342-00-463-5218. The plugs must be manufactured by Cummins Inc. or meet the same specifications and standards. The Coast Guard requires that the plugs be individually packaged in accordance with specific packing, packaging, marking, and bar-coding requirements. The delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center in Baltimore, MD.
• The plugs must be made of zinc, with a length of 2.500 inches, a diameter of 0.625 inches, and a 0.500 NPT thread.
• The plugs must have a 0.562-inch square wrenching facility on the head.
• The plugs must be individually packaged in a single-wall fiberboard box, cushioned, and marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129R and ISO/IEC-16388-2007.
• The Coast Guard intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract to the offeror whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government, based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
