Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential offerors to provide workers' compensation recovery assistance services. The contractor will be responsible for identifying California workers' compensation cases where VA may obtain reimbursement for medical care provided to an injured worker. The contractor will also be responsible for taking all necessary steps to affect recovery on behalf of VA, including filing liens, negotiating with workers' compensation insurers, and attending hearings at the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.
• The contractor must have experience with similar projects and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
• The contractor must have a current Online Representations and Certification Application on file with SAM.
• The contractor must be able to provide capability information, including business size, business socio-economic status, and ability to perform similar projects.
• The contractor must be able to identify workers' compensation cases and take all necessary steps to affect recovery on behalf of VA.
