Invitation to Bid for Non Ferrous Metals (gaylords/pallets) at Naval Base San Diego

The Navy Region Southwest Qualified Recycling Program (QRP) is issuing an invitation to bid on the sale of non-ferrous metals in gaylords/pallets located at Naval Base San Diego. The sale includes various types of metals, such as aluminum, brass, and copper. Bidders are expected to inspect the material offered and satisfy themselves as to quality and conditions that may affect the offer proposed. The buyer must remove the material no later than 10 business days after the award of the material. • The sale is for scrap metal purposes only. • All sales are final. • The buyer assumes complete liability for all taxes applicable to its property, income, and all transactions arising out of or in connection with the performance of the transaction. • The buyer must provide 24-hour notification of pick-up schedule to the NRSW QRP office. • The buyer is responsible for damage to containers that occurred while in his possession.
