Description
The Community College of Aurora is seeking a grant evaluator for the NSF Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S-STEM) grant. The grant evaluator will conduct student focus groups, collect student responses, and collate both qualitative and quantitative data regarding differential student success outcomes into 5 annual reports and a summative final assessment of program performance. The evaluator will also assist in the development of metrics for determining the appropriate dosage of student support interventions and maintain student success data in a secure manner.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting student focus groups and collecting qualitative data
• Collecting quantitative data on academic achievement of program students
• Developing a control sample of similarly situated non-scholarship students
• Maintaining student success data in a secure manner
• Assisting in the development of metrics for determining the appropriate dosage of student support interventions
