Description

The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is seeking a qualified post‑secondary partner (or consortium) to deliver Dual Enrollment (DE) and Local Dual Credit (LDC) courses to high‑school students across the district for a five‑year term. The contractor will provide course catalogs, manage student enrollment and registration, support MNPS teachers with training and credentialing, report academic outcomes, and ensure compliance with data‑privacy and federal regulations. Funding for tuition, materials, fees, and teacher support is sourced from the post‑secondary partner’s payments to MNPS, with additional per‑section compensation rates. The contract includes extensive insurance, background‑check, and data‑sharing requirements, and the solicitation closes on 4 Oct 2026. • Deliver in‑person, virtual, or hybrid DE/LDC courses and maintain accreditation/credit‑transferability. • Provide enrollment/registration processes, teacher training, and ongoing communication/reporting to MNPS. • Comply with data‑sharing agreements, FERPA, COPPA, and insurance mandates; submit required certifications and insurance certificates. • Offer transparent cost structures for tuition, fees, and per‑section compensation (e.g., $2,500‑$3,500 per semester per section). • Support equity goals by ensuring no cost to students and supplying textbooks, digital materials, and classroom resources.

Budget estimate

$2,000,000 – $5,000,000

The solicitation does not disclose a total contract ceiling. Based on the per‑section compensation rates ($2,500‑$3,500 per semester) and the expectation that multiple sections will be offered across the district each term, plus funding for textbooks, digital materials, equipment, and teacher training, a realistic five‑year spend could range from a few million dollars up to mid‑single‑digit millions. Assuming an average of 40 sections per semester (80 per year) at $3,000 each, tuition‑related payments alone would be about $2.4 M annually, or $12 M over five years. Adding material and support costs could push the total toward $15–$20 M. Therefore, a conservative ballpark for the contractor’s revenue is $2 M–$5 M over the contract term, recognizing that actual earnings depend on the number of sections and student enrollment.
