The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is conducting market research to determine the availability and capability of potential small businesses to provide preventive maintenance and service agreements for a Beckman Coulter CytoFLEX S, 4-Laser with Plate Loader. The project involves a one-year base period with two one-year options and requires the contractor to provide one scheduled preventative maintenance visit per year, as well as emergency maintenance visits with priority scheduling. The contractor must demonstrate the ability to perform under a potential contracting vehicle and meet specific criteria, including having factory-certified Beckman Coulter technicians and providing priority scheduling for any needed repairs.
• The service agreement will provide one scheduled preventative maintenance visit each year to ensure that the instrument is operating properly.
• The service agreement also covers emergency maintenance visits during the span of the contract, with priority scheduling, to prevent loss of productivity due to equipment malfunction and ensure maximum uptime.
• The Protective Full Risk PT Service Agreement provides proactive service approach to maximize uptime and improve profitability, on-site labor, travel, and parts during Beckman’s normal business hours, covered 100%, priority on-site service support and technical phone support, and additional key operator training available during Beckman’s regular service visits.
• The contractor will be required to initiate a service agreement, complete one preventative maintenance visit per year, facilitate priority scheduling for any emergency maintenance service requests, and arrive onsite as scheduled for any necessary emergency maintenance service visits.
