WINGATE PLAZA, PHASE B & C – STOREFRONT RENOVATIONS (RE-BID)

The Lauderhill Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is seeking sealed proposals from qualified General Contractors to complete storefront renovations at Wingate Plaza, located at 1249–1281 NW 31ST AVENUE, Lauderhill, Florida 33311. The project consists of three phases, and this solicitation applies to Phase B and Phase C only. Phase B involves the removal and replacement of the existing storefront system on the north side of the building, including associated drywall repairs. Phase C includes modifications to the existing overhang, installation of new electrical systems, required roof work, and construction of new sign walls. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, permits, inspections, and incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. • The contractor must have a minimum of five years of experience providing General Construction services of similar size and scope. • The contractor must have current and valid licensure in the State of Florida as a General Contractor. • The contractor must have a current Broward County Occupational License (or Business Tax Receipt), verifying the firm is properly licensed and authorized to perform the type of work required under this RFP at the time of proposal submission. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance coverage, including Workers’ Compensation Insurance, Commercial General Liability (CGL), Automobile Liability Insurance, and Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) if applicable. • The contractor must furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. The CRA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities or irregularities, and accept or reject any portion of a proposal in the best interest of the citizens of Lauderhill.
