ITB 2026-001 Upper Roanoke River Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project

The City of Salem is seeking contractors to perform extensive sanitary sewer rehabilitation within the Upper Roanoke River Sewershed. The scope includes CCTV inspections, cured‑in‑place pipe (CIPP) lining, pipe‑bursting, open‑cut pipe replacement, and manhole rehabilitation across multiple pipe diameters. This project will address roughly 75,000 linear feet of sewer infrastructure, requiring both trenchless and traditional construction methods. • CCTV inspection of ~440 ft of 6‑in, 59,000 ft of 8‑in, 6,200 ft of 10‑in, 3,200 ft of 12‑in, and 5,700 ft of 15‑in sanitary sewer lines. • Trenchless technologies: CIPP lining and mixed‑diameter pipe bursting. • Conventional excavation: open‑cut pipe replacement and manhole rehabilitation. • All work must comply with the Contract Documents and city specifications.
