The US Coast Guard Base Los Angeles Long Beach intends to award a sole-source contract to a small, disadvantaged business for fire system inspections. The contract requires the inspection, testing, and certification of fire alarm and suppression systems across the base, in direct coordination with the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), as mandated by California State Law. The scope of work includes a complete, end-to-end inspection and functional test of all fire alarm, detection, and suppression systems, with the outcome being a full certification demonstrating compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations for the 2026 operational year.
