Propane Tank Replacement

The City of St. Petersburg is seeking quotes to replace an existing 1,000 gallon above ground propane tank with a brand new 1,000 gallon propane tank at the Stormwater, Pavement, & Traffic Operations facility. The project includes removal and disposal of the existing tank, installation of a new tank, electrical connections, permitting, startup, testing, and commissioning. The vendor must have a minimum of 3 years experience in providing propane tank installation and fueling station services, be a licensed electrician or employ a licensed electrician, and have the ability to obtain the minimum insurance requirements. The project is a one-time project and the vendor must complete all work, including installation, testing, commissioning, and training, upon project completion. • The project includes removal and disposal of the existing 1,000-gallon propane tank • Installation of a new 1,000-gallon above-ground propane tank equipped with a dispenser cabinet • Electrical connections, permitting, startup, testing, and commissioning • Training for 10 SPTO maintenance employees • Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations
