Description
Camden County is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive pre‑employment medical screening services for its Department of Corrections and all other county employees. The vendor must conduct physician‑led physical examinations, required laboratory testing, infectious‑disease screening, and, for law‑enforcement recruits, specific agility and performance tests. Services include rapid reporting of results, the ability to handle short‑notice surge capacity, and optional post‑employment (return‑to‑work) screenings. The contract is for one year, with potential for amendment, and the county will evaluate proposals after the October 2, 2026 opening.
• Core services: physical exam, vision/hearing, vitals, lab work (chemistry, lipid panel, EKG), TB & Hep B testing, and required certification forms.
• Agility testing for correctional‑officer recruits (step test, dummy drag, ¼‑mile run, etc.) with results delivered within 24 hours (preliminary) and two weeks (final).
• Vendor must supply insurance (≥ $1 M PL), certify BRC registration, and be able to testify if a screening decision is contested.
