Hyland Hills Admin Building Improvements - Phase II

The Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District is seeking bids for the Hyland Hills Admin Building Improvements - Phase II project. The project involves the demolition and new construction of the upper floor reception and copy area to create an additional conference room and open office area, as well as the remodeling of the lower level to include a new vestibule area at the southwest entrance. The project requires compliance with all applicable building codes, specialty codes, and accessibility standards. • The contractor will be responsible for the complete security of the building and site while the job is in progress and until the job is completed. • The contractor must minimize construction noise and notify the building representative of special circumstances in advance. • The contractor must provide sound batt insulation in all walls at restrooms, offices, and conference room locations. • The contractor must provide drywall expansion joints at 30'-0" O.C. • The contractor must provide blocking where needed for all casework, wall stops, and toilet accessories. • The project includes the installation of new plumbing fixtures, flooring, and finishes, as well as the upgrade of the elevator controls to secure access to the upper floor.
