On-Site Auction Services of Unclaimed/Abandoned Property for Lincoln Police Department

The City of Lincoln is seeking proposals for on-site auction services for unclaimed/abandoned property, including vehicles, motorcycles, and bicycles. The successful contractor will be responsible for conducting on-site auctions and related asset recovery services. The contract term is for one year with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods. The contractor must have a minimum of three years of successful experience providing similar services and must hold a City of Lincoln permit to sell real or personal property at auction. • The contractor will be responsible for advertising auctions, registering bidders, and collecting auction proceeds. • The contractor must provide a detailed breakdown of winning bidders, including name, address, phone number, and driver's license number. • The contractor must have the capability to perform the primary functions of this service, including cashiering functions and invoicing the Owner. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation. • The contractor must agree to pay all employees a base wage of not less than the City Living Wage. • The contractor must warrant that all persons assigned to the performance of this contract are fully qualified to perform the work required.
