Description
The County of Portage, Wisconsin, is soliciting proposals for third-party testing and inspection services for the new Portage County LEC and Jail project. The selected firm will provide construction-phase services, including general construction observation, testing, and reporting to verify compliance with project geotechnical recommendations, drawings, and specifications. The scope of services includes observation and testing of subgrade preparation, site grading, utilities, and stormwater systems, as well as compaction testing of structural fill and classification and testing of fill materials. Proposals will be ranked based on criteria such as statement of qualifications, key personnel, and fee proposal.
• The proposal should be a demonstration of the ability to communicate concisely and succinctly.
• Proposals are to be organized in the same sequence as outlined in the RFP and sections should be clearly identifiable.
• Limit proposal response to ten (10) 8 ½” x 11” single-sided printable sheets, minimum font size of 11 point (excludes transmittal cover letter).
