Description
The City of Reynolds is seeking bids for the construction of Storm Drainage & Street Improvements in the N. Collins, Macon Street & Morris Street Area - Phase I. The project includes the installation of storm drainage pipes, associated drainage inlets, head walls, grading, curb and gutter, asphalt leveling and resurfacing, pavement widening, and related work. The project is expected to be funded in part by the City of Reynolds and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs-U.S. HUD Community Development Block Grant program. The City of Reynolds is committed to Affirmatively Further Fair Housing and is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968.
• The project consists of +/- 1,100 LF of Storm Drainage Pipe (15" - 42"), associated drainage inlets, head walls, +/- 980 LF Grading to Construct Outfall Ditch, +/- 4,400 LF Curb & Gutter, +/- 300 tons of asphalt leveling & re-surfacing, pavement widening, grading, sediment & erosion control and related work.
• Bids will be received for a single prime Contract on a lump sum and unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.
• The City of Reynolds reserves the right to reject all bids, including without limitation, the right to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional bids, and to make an award in the best interest of the City of Reynolds.
