Description
The City of Saco is seeking qualified contractors to mill, pave, and adjust associated infrastructure along a 4,275‑foot stretch of Beach Street. The work includes removing 2‑inch existing pavement, installing a 0.5‑inch polymer‑modified hot‑mix asphalt shim course, a 1.5‑inch surface course, and bringing all affected structures to grade. Additional scope covers traffic control, mobilization, striping, and related site preparation. The contract will be awarded after sealed bids are opened on April 29, 2026, with a tight construction window of 60 calendar days and a final completion deadline of October 15, 2026.
