RFP Bighorn River - 1M W Bighorn 9991000

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is accepting proposals from consulting firms interested in the preparation of the construction plans and specifications for the Bighorn River – 1M W Bighorn project. The project will replace/rehabilitate a pair of existing structures on I-94, including an Eastbound Structure and a Westbound Structure. The project may include roadway design, traffic engineering, operations analysis and design, geotechnical investigation, analysis, and design, survey, environmental evaluation and permitting, bridge design, hydraulics analysis and design, and local agency and other stakeholder coordination. • The project is expected to be completed in a timely manner, with a project schedule to be developed and negotiated prior to executing the contract agreement. • The selected consultant will be required to have an internal quality assurance/quality control process achieving industry standard expectations for quality. • The consultant will be required to provide a proposal that includes team qualifications, project approach, and past performance information. • The evaluation of proposals will be based on factors including team qualifications, project approach, and record of past performance. • The contract agreement will be administered on a cost-plus fixed fee basis, with negotiated cost ceilings.
