Description
The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking a consultant to provide design services for the Blackerby Subdivision Utility Repairs project. The project includes pavement, drainage, water utility, and possible wastewater improvements. The consultant will be responsible for preparing complete bid-ready construction drawings, specifications, bid schedule, and engineer's estimate with critical material lead times. The project has an accelerated schedule, and the consultant must prioritize survey scheduling to avoid seasonal delays.
• The scope of services includes public outreach and coordination assistance with residents, records research and utility coordination, topographic and boundary survey, engineering design, and preparation of construction bid-ready documents.
• The consultant will attend all required public meetings and be available to present the design and project schedule to the Assembly or their subcommittee.
• The consultant must have experience with similar projects and provide a list of projects of similar scale and scope.
• The consultant must provide hourly rates and a list of reimbursable expenses typical for this type of project.
• The consultant must have professional registration in the State of Alaska at the time of proposal submission.
