Description
The United States Air Force is seeking potential sources for the production phase of the B-52J Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP). The program requires the production of aircraft modification kits, including engine struts, integrated drive generators, hydraulic pumps, and other components, as well as interim contractor support for the CERP components. The kits will be used to modify up to 76 B-52H aircraft, and the contractor will be responsible for building, storing, and delivering the kits to Tinker AFB or other designated locations. The contractor will also provide interim contractor support, including supplier management, non-warranty repair of aircraft components, and support equipment.
Key requirements include:
* Capability to acquire aircraft modification components and hardware from the Boeing developed Tech Data package
* Capability to build, store, and deliver aircraft modification kits to Tinker AFB on an as-needed basis
* Capability to provide interim contractor support for the CERP components
* Experience with similar scope and complexity
* Ability to comply with FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, if applicable
* Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database
* NAICS code 336411, size standard 1,500 employees.
