Budget estimate

$2,000,000 – $5,000,000

Based on typical costs for a K‑12 innovation center of roughly 80,000–120,000 sq ft in Michigan, total construction budgets generally range from $2 million to $5 million. This estimate assumes moderate design complexity, prevailing‑wage labor rates, and the eleven trade categories listed. The actual budget to any single trade contractor will depend on the scope they win (e.g., earthwork might be $300k‑$600k, structural steel $400k‑$800k, MEP $500k‑$1 million, etc.).
