The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from capable firms for the replacement of standard ERCP duodenoscopes with disposable single-use duodenoscopes that require the EXALT Controller processor. The objective is to eliminate the risk of patient infection due to ineffective reprocessing and reduce reprocessing costs. The EXALT single-use duodenoscope delivers consistent performance and eliminates the need for reprocessing. The department is looking for firms that can provide the EXALT Controller and single-use duodenoscopes, as well as maintenance and service for the equipment. • The EXALT Controller is a 100-240 VAC controller for use with single-use duodenoscopes. • The single-use duodenoscopes are sterile and come in different packaging options (Box 1, Box 2, Box 4, Box 8). • The period of performance is expected to start as soon as the single-use duodenoscope processor EXALT controller is approved. • The place of performance is the Endoscopy unit at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. • Firms responding to this Sources Sought must provide information about their company, including socio-economic status, certifications, and experience with similar contracts.
