Description
The Virgin Islands Port Authority is seeking bids for marine dredging services for the Charlotte Amalie Harbor and Yacht Haven Grande Marina. The project involves dredging the entrance channels, turning basin, and berth pocket to facilitate safe and efficient navigation for large vessels. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, material, services, and equipment necessary for the project. The contract period is 365 calendar days, and the contractor must comply with all applicable federal and local laws and regulations.
• The project includes a bid alternate for additional dredging for the expansion at the Yacht Haven Grande Marina.
• The contractor must provide a bid surety in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount.
• The contractor must comply with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance and comply with all safety standards and regulations.
