On-Call Engineering Design Services

The County of Nevada is soliciting sealed Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from engineering firms to provide Engineering Design Services for various public works projects. Services may include roadway and bridge engineering, structural and foundation engineering, geotechnical investigations, materials testing, and more. The purpose of this RFQ is to establish a Qualified List of firms to provide Engineering Design Services on an as-needed basis. The County intends to name approximately four consultants to the Qualified List, and the list shall be valid for three years from the date of award, with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. • The County is looking for firms with experience in providing engineering design services for public works projects. • The selected consultants will be required to perform miscellaneous engineering design services on an on-call basis. • The County will assign work by soliciting informal proposals from one or more of the consultants on the Qualified List for specific tasks. • The consultants will be selected for specific projects based on their rank in the informal RFP process. • The County makes no specific guarantee of a minimum or maximum amount of services that shall be requested of any firm who is named to the Qualified List.
