Wyoming Union – Exterior Building Remediation

The University of Wyoming is seeking bids for the exterior remediation of the Wyoming Union building. The project includes repair and application of coatings to selected concrete surfaces, repointing mortar and caulking joints, and repair of select pre-cast concrete beams. The estimated project completion date is August 31, 2026. The scope of work includes surface preparation, application of water-based, high-build, 100 percent acrylic, waterproof coating, and installation of joint sealants. The contractor will be required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and submit a bid by the deadline. • The project requires the contractor to have experience with similar projects and to provide a detailed schedule of values and a construction schedule. • The contractor will be required to provide a warranty for the work and to obtain the necessary approvals and permits. • The university reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to negotiate with the selected bidder. • The contract will be awarded to the bidder who submits the lowest responsive bid. • The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to labor, safety, and environmental protection.
