Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, The Richard L. Roudebush Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center (INDY VAMC), intends to solicit and negotiate with Itamar Medical, Inc. for sleep studies. The INDY VAMC utilizes the WatchPAT devices and services to support its enterprise home sleep apnea testing (HSAT) operations. The WatchPAT services and devices provide a turnkey testing solution that includes direct-to-patient shipping, return logistics, and the mailing of all required probes and consumable components to ensure proper device functionality and clinical accuracy. • The WatchPAT devices and services are fully integrated with the existing WatchPAT server platform. • The vendor provides real-time patient troubleshooting and help desk support, assisting Veterans with device placement, activation, Bluetooth connection, and resolving technical issues throughout the study period. • The seamless integration eliminates the need for duplicative systems, additional interfaces, or alternate data platforms that are incompatible with the WatchPAT ecosystem.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $500,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate without more information about the scope of work and the number of sleep studies to be conducted. However, considering the WatchPAT devices and services are a turnkey solution, the cost may include the devices, shipping, logistics, and support services. A rough estimate for the budget could be between $100,000 and $500,000, depending on the number of devices and services required. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the number of sleep studies, the duration of the contract, and the level of support services required.
