Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking a contractor to develop a Common Analytic and Support System (CASS) for the NOAA National Weather Service (NWS) Tsunami Warning Centers (TWCs). The CASS system will be designed to ingest and analyze data from various sources, including seismic and sea level observations, and provide real-time tsunami forecasts and warnings. The system will be deployed at two TWCs, one in Alaska and one in Hawaii, and will require the contractor to work closely with NOAA staff and other stakeholders to ensure successful integration and operation. The contract will include a two-month baselining period, followed by approximately one year of development, with one optional additional development year. The contractor will be responsible for designing and implementing the CASS system, including the development of new algorithms and models, and the integration of existing models and data sources. The contractor will also be responsible for testing and validating the system, and for providing ongoing maintenance and support. • The CASS system will be designed to provide real-time tsunami forecasts and warnings. • The system will be deployed at two TWCs, one in Alaska and one in Hawaii. • The contractor will be responsible for designing and implementing the CASS system. • The contractor will work closely with NOAA staff and other stakeholders to ensure successful integration and operation. • The contract will include a two-month baselining period, followed by approximately one year of development, with one optional additional development year.
