Description
The City of Statesboro is soliciting sealed bids for the design‑build installation of a new natural‑gas distribution system serving a Kroger store and adjacent shopping center. The scope includes supplying and installing approximately 2,700 ft of 4‑in. PE pipe and 1,175 ft of 2‑in. PE pipe, associated valve assemblies, risers, pipeline markers, and all required trenching, directional drilling (HDD), back‑filling, and site restoration. Bidders must provide a utility contractor’s license, insurance certificates, operator‑qualification documentation, and a bid bond equal to 10 % of the bid price. The contract will require performance and payment bonds equal to 100 % of the contract amount. Work must commence after a Notice to Proceed and be completed within 90 calendar days.
