The work focuses on building resilient surveillance systems, expanding laboratory capacity, and delivering workforce training to improve detection, reporting, and response to infectious disease threats. Four awards will be made, each supporting a multi‑year effort to create sustainable, cross‑sectoral health security mechanisms.
• Strengthen community‑based disease surveillance and reporting networks.
• Upgrade and expand national laboratory systems for rapid diagnostics.
• Provide technical assistance and training for health‑workforce capacity building.
• Facilitate cross‑sector coordination among ministries, NGOs, and international partners.
• Deliver measurable outcomes aligned with GHSA objectives and CDC performance metrics.
