Walnut Grove Bridge Over Sacramento River BPMP Design and Consulting Services

The County of Sacramento is soliciting proposals for the Walnut Grove Over Sacramento River Bridge Preventative Maintenance Project (BPMP) Design and Consulting Services. The selected consultant will be responsible for determining the scope of work for repairs, designing improvements, providing geotechnical services, and performing construction assistance. The project includes tasks such as replacing or patching concrete deficiencies, investigating rock rip-rap needs, replacing the bridge deck, and upgrading electrical system hardware. Key aspects of the project include: • Determining the scope of work for repairs and designing improvements • Providing geotechnical services to support scoping and design • Performing construction assistance, including bidding and contract administration • Coordinating with permitting agencies and providing supporting information for environmental documents • Preparing reports, plans, specifications, and estimates in accordance with County standards and industry requirements • Ensuring compliance with the Buy America Act and other applicable regulations
