Description
Swain County Schools is seeking qualified architectural firms to provide full‑service design and project administration for the complete roof replacement of Swain County High School. The scope includes existing condition documentation, schematic through construction‑document design, assistance with construction bidding, and construction administration through project close‑out. The selected firm must be licensed in North Carolina, carry $1 M professional liability insurance, and demonstrate recent K‑12 educational design experience. Submissions are due October 12, 2026, with questions due by October 9, 2026. Selection will be made by the school board on October 19, 2026.
• Full architectural and engineering design (schematic, design development, construction documents)
• Project planning and existing‑conditions survey
• Facilitation of construction bidding and award process
• Construction administration and final close‑out
• Required proof of licensing, insurance, and prior K‑12 project experience
