Description
The United States Marine Corps is seeking sources for the supply of 800 mattresses. The mattresses must meet specific salient characteristics, including being navy blue nylon with dimensions of 36”W x 77-80”L x 8” thickness, and containing features such as 5 layers of quilting, 312 innerspring coil unit, and a fiber insulator pad. The mattresses must also be durable, crack resistant, stain resistant, antimicrobial, and flame retardant. Interested vendors must provide their cage code, socio-economic status, and other information to the point of contact.
• The mattresses will be used constantly throughout the year and must be able to withstand heavy use.
• The mattresses must be able to maintain their shape and provide adequate support.
• The mattresses must be easy to clean and maintain.
• The mattresses must meet all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to flame retardancy and antimicrobial properties.
