Green Dot Public Schools is seeking a qualified telecom provider to deliver high‑capacity internet and WAN services for its Los Angeles‑area charter schools and district offices. The contract will provide dedicated internet access to two data‑center sites, aggregate WAN circuits, and metro‑ethernet private LAN connections to 30+ schools, with options for bandwidth upgrades and a multi‑year term. The award will consider price, transition plan, and experience with both the district and the federal E‑Rate program. • Direct Internet Access (DIA) of 10 Gbps (upgradable to 20 Gbps) to two data‑center locations (Inglewood and Los Angeles). • WAN aggregation circuits of 20 Gbps (expandable to 40 Gbps) and metro‑ethernet EP‑LAN circuits of 2 Gbps or 5 Gbps per school, with upgrade paths to 10 Gbps. • Performance guarantees of ≥ 99.99 % availability, 24 × 7 × 365 monitoring, monthly outage reporting, and non‑performance credit formula. • Mandatory E‑Rate compliance (SPIN, FRN, FCC “green‑light” status) and the ability to start installation before the services become billable on July 1 2026. • Contract term options: 36 months + up to two 1‑year extensions (max 38 months) or a straight 60‑month term.
