Description
The City of Trenton is seeking professional services operations for its Department of Water and Sewer, specifically for the Trenton Water Works water filtration plant. The scope of work includes providing various personnel, such as a QA Officer, Engineers, Compliance Manager, Public Relations and Engagement Manager, Distribution System Operators, Water Treatment Plant Repairer, and other staff resources. The selected vendor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing daily operations, and providing technical support. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to extend for a second year.
• The QA Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all required regulatory analyses are conducted properly and that the laboratory manager is complying with NJ DEP Office of Quality Assurance regulations.
• The Engineers will assist the Chief Engineer in the performance of the Chief Engineer's day-to-day workload.
• The Compliance Manager will work closely with the licensed operators and Directors of the Treatment Plant and Distribution System to ensure full compliance with all regulations applicable to the Trenton Water Works utility.
• The Public Relations and Engagement Manager will assess, modernize, and monitor TWW's Public Relations capabilities and assets.
• The Distribution System Operators will be responsible for managing and monitoring the operations of the distribution system.
• The Water Treatment Plant Repairer will perform routine plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repair work in the water treatment plant.
The City of Trenton is looking for a vendor with experience in providing similar services, and the selection will be based on the qualifications and experience of the proposed personnel, the firm's relevant experience and past performance, and the cost proposal.
