Description
The City of Holland, Michigan is seeking bids for commercial solid waste collection and disposal services for a term of six years, from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2032. The selected contractor will provide services for the removal of solid waste, including refuse, rubbish, recycling, yard waste, and office organic composting, from various City departments and public locations. The contractor will be responsible for collecting and removing solid waste from designated locations, and will be required to provide a quarterly report of all replaced or repaired containers. The bid must include a cost for the pick-up of Christmas trees and holiday or special event pick-ups.
• The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and supplies.
• The contractor will be required to provide a designated contract representative who will be responsible for responding to complaints and resolving issues.
