Windy Hill Road Improvements

The City of Kyle is seeking a contractor for the realigning and improving of Windy Hill Road from the east right-of-way of IH 35 northbound frontage road to Purple Martin Avenue, with asphalt reconstruction, curb and gutters, and raised medians in select sections. The project includes the construction of a roundabout with a centered structural pad for an art piece and surrounding decorative materials, sidewalks, curb ramps, driveways, storm sewers, cross culvert extensions, pedestrian railing, roadside ditches and culverts, water lines, street lighting, permanent signage and striping, and two rectangular rapid flashing beacons. The contractor will be selected through a competitive sealed bid process, with the contract award based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid. The project has an expected duration of 490 calendar days.
