Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking information from potential contractors to provide project management, technical expertise, agile software development, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, system integration, testing, deployment, operations, maintenance/sustainment, and technical support services necessary to modernize, enhance, deploy, operate, maintain/sustain, and continuously improve the MBS Product Line. The scope of this contract is to integrate VA's BOSS-E and MBMS capabilities into VA-EISS, provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for VA-EISS, decommission the BOSS-E and MBMS systems, and continue O&M for VA-EISS for the remainder of the life of the contract. Key services include agile software development, application and data integration, DevSecOps, cybersecurity engineering, database engineering, and user experience.
Some of the key features of this opportunity include:
• The contract has a base period of 6 months and two option periods of 12 months each
• The contractor will be required to provide a Contractor Project Management Plan and participate in PI Planning sessions
• The contractor will be required to provide monthly status reports and support VA's information security and privacy requirements
• The contractor will be required to comply with various federal laws, VA policies, and NIST guidance
