Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Preventive Maintenance

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Yuma Proving Ground (MICC-YPG) is seeking information on companies that can provide preventive maintenance services for Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) units and masks. The contractor will be required to perform annual inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on 60 SCBA assemblies and 45 masks. The work will be performed at the Yuma Proving Ground Fire Department. The contractor must have the necessary expertise and certifications to perform the work, including MSA CARE Comprehensive Training certifications. • The contractor will be required to test and inspect the SCBA units and masks to ensure they meet the manufacturer's specifications and are safe for use. • The contractor will be required to provide reports on the testing and inspection results. • The contractor will be required to make any necessary repairs to the SCBA units and masks. • The contractor will be required to maintain a valid CARE Facility certification. • The contractor will be required to provide training to their employees on the local iWATCH program.
